INTELLIGENCE FOR THE GUERRILLA IN THE ASYMMETRIC AGENTIC WARS
Every week, 12,000 disruptors read The Special Agent to track the builders outmaneuvering legacy platforms. AI agents already hack, defend, shop, hire, settle claims, and move money. Incumbents built on transaction tolls, inflated API markups, and per-seat taxes are spending millions to protect their monopolies and keep capital routed through their gates. We arm the guerrillas on the perimeter.
Every issue dissects live, operational deployments in the wild:
1) The Architect: who engineered it, how it runs, and how to reach them.
2) The Spread: revenue, margins, and what incumbents charge for the same job.
3) The Blueprint: the underlying architecture and code to start building yourself.
4) Field Recon: high-margin incumbent territories with zero automated competition
Zero theoretical hype, just FREE field intelligence for the agentic economy.
FAQ
Tap a question to see the answer.
What is The Special Agent?
A weekly field report on the agentic economy. Every issue takes apart live businesses where an AI agent does a job that used to carry a fee, shows who collected that fee before, runs the numbers the way a CFO would, and names the people who built it.
We started it by combining a couple of our previous newsletters that were based on interactions with our customers. Our goal is to grow the agentic economy and remove marketshare from incumbents that seek to protect fat margins and paced innovation.
How do I get my build featured?
We will have a direct path for you to submit your build setup by the end of September 2026. We are still finalizing the questionnaire.
Who is The Special Agent for?
The guerrilla: the builder, operator, investor, or reporter who knows a single actor can take a toll (fee) away from a company that has held it for decades. Most readers work in finance, fraud, cybersecurity, payments, or software engineering.
Can I buy a placement?
No. A mention is listed, never sold, and nobody can pay to be covered in The Builds. If anyone asks you for money in exchange for coverage here, they are not us, and we want to hear about it.
Who publishes it?
KillChain Inc. DBA FLINT, which builds fraud and compliance infrastructure for the agentic economy. FLINT was founded by a former U.S. Special Agent and executive at a unicorn. He spent a career following money powerful people wanted hidden. FLINT gets one line an issue and no more.
Will you share or sell my email?
Never. Your address stays with us, full stop.
What is a Field Manual?
A longer essay that does not expire. The first argues why now is the best moment in history to take on a monopoly. The second is the doctrine for doing it. They are the place to start if you are new to agents or even entrepreneurship.
How do I reach you?
Reply to any issue. Every reply is read by a human, and the answers may decide what gets covered next.
